A CYCLIST has been taken to hospital after a collision with a car in Fishponds Road.
Police are appealing for witnesses and people with dashcam or other video footage of the incident, which happened at about 10.20pm yesterday between the Sandy Lane and Berkeley Street junctions in Eastville, to come forward.
An Avon & Somerset police spokesperson said: “The injured man, who is in his 20s, was riding an electrically-assisted bicycle when he was involved in a collision with a Nissan Note travelling in the opposite direction.
“He remains in hospital with injuries not currently believed to be life-threatening.
“There were no reported injuries to the car driver.”
