A WOMAN was taken to hospital with facial injuries after an attack in Hillfields.
Avon & Somerset police said the woman was assaulted at around 6am yesterday in Marshfield Road.
She was then taken to hospital with facial injuries.
Police taped off some areas while forensic examinations took place and a spokesperson said the investigation was ongoing.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious is being asked to call the police on 101 and quote the crime reference number 5225 280 810.
