Teenager in court accused of Fishponds arson attacks

A TEENAGER has appeared in court to face charges relating to a series of arson attacks in Fishponds.

Przemek Trojecki, aged 19, is accused of arson with intent to endanger life, two counts of attempted arson with intent to endanger life, six counts of arson, one of attempted arson and one of criminal damage to a vehicle which had its tyres slashed.

Police say the charges relate to incidents in Oldbury Court Road, Everest Road, Small Lane, River View, Perrymans Close and Grove Avenue between April and September last year.

Trojecki, of Fishponds, is also charged with being in possession of a knife in a public place and possessing cannabis, on Wednesday of this week.

In custody

He appeared at Bristol Magistrates’ Court yesterday and was remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at the city’s Crown court in July.
