Man sought by police after attempt to strangle boy in street

POLICE want to trace this man in connection with an attack on a boy in Soundwell.

A spokesperson for the force said officers “received a report that a child, approximately 10 years old, was being strangled and pushed up against a fence in Soundwell Road”, shortly before 7.45pm on Friday March 22.

The spokesperson added: “The offender was described as a man, aged in his late 30s or early 40s, with receding black hair and black clothing.”
